Joscelyn Gardner: tending to an "unspeakable" past... opened at Galeria Adhoc in Vigo, Spain, on January 27th and runs to March 26th, 2011. Gardner's first solo show in Europe was selected by Gallery Curator Ines Roman from her submission to the XXXI Pontevedra Bienal (Curated by Santiago Olmo) which took place in Pontevedra, Spain, in June 2010. The exhibition centers on two important suites of lithographs - Creole Portraits II (2007) and Creole Portraits III (2009-10). These lithographs have been circulating recently for international exhibition and are now being released for sale on the commercial market.
