

Global Caraibes, curated by Edouard Duval-Carrie, opened at the Musee Internationalle des Arts Modestes on 11th June. Joscelyn traveled to France to install her work and attend the opening there. Supported by Culturesfrance, the exhibition in Sete included the work from The Global Caribbean exhibition (as shown at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2009) in addition to special exhibits by Edouard Duval-Carrie, Kcho, and Herve Telemaque, as well as projected photographs by Pablo Butcher from the newly launched book Urban Vodou: Politique et art de la rue en Haiti (Signal Books, Oxford, 2010) written by Carl-Hermann Middelanis.
Other exhibiting artists who were present at the opening included Nicole Awai (NY), Vickie Pierre (Miami), Blue Curry (London), Kendra Frorup (Tampa, FL), and Jean-Francois Bocle (Paris). The exhibition continues until 14th October.
